Had a great hot sandwich called the Ultimate French Dip. Basically a French dip with bell peppers. Almost a cheesesteak with au jus. Very good cafe with a homey feel. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The prices are fair. Good parking. Clean rest rooms. We had them cater my wife's birthday party and it was all very good. I recommend this place to being a friend or the whole crew for a good meal.

When we went in last, they didn't have air conditioning... It was very hot and muggy. The food was delicious though and the people working were super kind! It was pretty empty and quiet inside besides two or three other tables that were sat.

Really cute and spacious new cafe in Citrus Heights across from Sunrise Mall. Very attentive and friendly service and the food is really good! It's a family owned local business that I'm happy to keep supporting because the quality is there.

Talk about a hole in the wall diner. I had no idea this place was here and in the old Dennys spot. This is real comfort food. Everything was so delicious down to their freshly baked muffins. The servings are plenty and enough to save for a second meal. Service is typical Diner service, friendly and on top of things. Their black coffee was delicious to. I will definitely be back

A great meal. Last time I've been in this place was years ago, when it used to be a Denny's. It sits right behind the Shell station, at the corner of sunrise and greenback. The place was bright and clean, and the service was great. I decided to have the steak omelette. A very generous portion of tender and delicious steak, along with bell peppers, onions, and pepper jack cheese, and pico de gallo on the top. . I asked to have the peppers swapped out with mushrooms, which they did, and instead of potatoes, I got a cup of very fresh fruit. The Eggs were good, the omelette was delicious, and every thing played very well with each other. I also had the biscuit, which was delicious and fluffy. The coffee was also very good.. The dish also came with a roasted jalapeño on the side. If I would've caught that on the menu, I would've asked them to leave off the jalapeño. I'm glad I didn't. Normally, I do not care for jalapeño in my sandwich, in my nachos, etc..... It turns out, what I don't like is raw jalapeño. This jalapeño was beyond delicious! All it needed was a couple of sprinkles of salt, and it was amazing. The roasting gave it such a deep flavor. And, even with the seeds still inside, it was not overly spicy. I really enjoyed it. A great meal for a decent price, and they even offer a military/veterans discount. Even without the discount, the price would've been great. Thank you very much!

Same Perkos interior, menu, great food, and great service. One of the best choices in the area for a delicious casual diner-style breakfast. Coffee is strong, just how I like it. Refills are aplenty. Loved my avocado, bacon, and cheese omelette. Hashbrowns were extra crispy, how I requested. Hubby liked his Mexican skillet. Keeping CH Cafe & Grill in the breakfast rotation!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little diner. It's off the main drag of Sunrise Blvd. It's a little hard to get to if you're coming from the cross street because you have to weave through a few other parking lots. Looks like it used to be a Denny's, so that's what I was expecting from the menu. The menu was actually quite a bit more diverse than I expected. It goes way beyond breakfast. My family, and I all enjoyed our food. It was pretty empty which is too bad because the food was high quality. The waitress was friendly and personable. They were out of the soup of the day which was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I think it could be a bit livelier, but I would go again based on the food. I tried the chile verde burrito, and it was quite tasty. The portion was huge, too. From what I could tell, the sandwiches, burgers, etc were all pretty decent as well. Seems like a great casual, family dining spot.
